    Our private duty services are a subset of our general home care services. Shanadoa Home Health is a locally owned and operated home health agency committed to client satisfaction and compassionate care. Our caregivers provide a broad range of services, from medical, nursing care to bill paying and transportation services. Their goal is provide whatever the senior and their family needs in order for them to remain independent in their homes.

  • Preserving Independence, Comfort and Wellness

    Private duty services are often considered to be activities of daily living (ADLs). We offer a full line of private pay services to help our clients feel comfortable and safe in their home. These services are often less costly than long term care or assisted living and is used to encourage independence rather than just trying to maintain status quo. They often assist in a client improving and buying additional time to remain in their home.

    Private Care Services

    • Personal care – bathing / dressing, hygiene, transfers, and ambulation 
    • Homemakers / companions 
    • Meal preparation 
    • Medication reminders 
    • Caregivers trained for clients with specialized conditions such as Alzheimer’s Disease, hospice, end of life or other needs 
    • Transportation for shopping, doctor’s visits or other needs
